Komui, decaffeinated
If 65 made it then he just couldn't drink it, but of course Reever refused to understand that when he finally caught him; that left Komui a yawning mess, sloppily signing his signature on the next ninety-seven documents and whining about how Lenalee being on a mission ruined everything for him.

Yuca/Rika, growing up
Even though they were quickly overwhelmed with the moodiness and growth spurts of puberty, Rika was always glad that she and Yuca hadn't actually grown up that much, since they had been tiny adults to begin with.

Kitora/Makoto; the language of flowers, dance lessons, haircuts, misfits, hugs

For what he couldn't tell her in person, he tells her in the little arrangements he leaves outside her door; she doesn't know much about flowers, but she's sure she knows the meaning of the single red rose waiting for her one morning.

After stepping on her toes seven times, tripping once, and accidentally falling with her more times than they could count, Makoto figured this was more or less a lesson on how to fall to music as opposed to actual dancing.

"You're sure it doesn't look terrible?" he asks, and she shakes her head and grins because she's glad she can finally see his eyes.

When Kitora found himself retreating to the roof of his new high school at lunch on the first day, he felt as though he found some sort of brethren when he spotted the girl in a boy's uniform offering to share her pocky.

In his mind, he tends to think of hugs as gentle vines wrapping around tree trunks, but when he hugs her, he can just see himself hugging his favorite girl.

Eikichi; music
Eikichi is sure the base is hardwired to his heart, and his vocal cords just have to share the song... even if it has his father banging on his bedroom door, telling him to shut up and study.

Ur+Luffy; family
He never grew up with parents, but he's pretty sure Ur's the best mom he's ever had.

Luffy; anchors, sails, ships, waves, storms

Even though it's on his favorite shirt, Luffy's pretty certain that he's still not an anchor, no matter how many times Shanks calls him one.

Of all the parts of a ship, the sails and the figurehead were his favorites, but he always found himself staring at the sails more because he liked seeing the different crews who came to his little island of Fuchsia.

Luffy's number one dream that stuck with him for longer than he could remember was to have a dream ship and sail farther than Gold Roger himself.

When the weather was nice and breezy, the water rocked the boat so melodically that even Luffy couldn't help but nap on Merry's head.

There were certain weather conditions those who wished to live should avoid while on a boat, but to Luffy, you really only needed to avoid the sea monsters who came above the water's surface every time lightning lit the sky.

Death the Kid; duct tape
When he came home to see how Patty had tried to 'fix' the hole in the wall with a bunch of metallic silver tape (only on the left of the door, mind you!), Kid was on the floor and sobbing faster than anyone could say 'symmetry'.
